Perfect Summer Lip Colors

Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share with you the perfect lip colors for summer and spring too, of course! I love lip stick, lip gloss, lip everything. Love it. I probably have 15 different shades of pink, corals, and oranges. I just can't get enough. Below I have swatched all of the colors for you to see, in the order you seem them in the other pictures. Let's get started!

Starting from the left I have this amazing Butter Gloss by NYX, in the shade Cherry Cheese Cake. This formula is seriously amazing. I don't have one bad thing to say about the Butter Glosses. I want them in every color. This shade is so amazing for summer. You can pair it on top of a pink lipstick to transform it into a more coral shade, or just wear it on it's own.
Next is the Sephora Rough lipstick in Miss/Madam. I know i've talked about this lipstick before so i'm not going to go super into detail about it. But the swatch speaks for itself. So pigmented, so creamy, and the perfect shade of pink. Can't go wrong with that!
The next one is from the Coulur riche collection from Loreal, in the shade Sunset Angora. This isn't as pigmented as some of the other ones. But it gives a really nice glossy look with a little bit of color. Nevertheless it is an amazing coral shade though. I really love this lipstick!

Maybelline has done it right this time. The Color Whispers are amazing! The shade I have is in Oh La Lilac. Love the name. This is a super build able lipstick. It can go quite sheer or very pigmented depending on how you want it to look. I am also obsessed with this color. I love the purple tones in it. Ugh. Can't get enough.
Another Sephora Rouge lipstick. I know, I'm obsessed. I have talked about this one before as well. It's just an amazing formula. You really can't go wrong with these. This one is in the shade Unfaithful. It reminds me of a watermelon... I don't know. That's just the first thing that comes to mind when I see the color. So cute!

Another Loreal product! This is also from the Colour Riche line, and this one is in the shade I Pink You're Cute. Again, love this name. In the tube it looks like a neon pink, but when you put it on it comes out to almost be a coraly color. This is also a pretty build able product, initially it doesn't go on super pigmented but depending on how much you put on, you will get more color.
Last but not least, is a lipstick by Milani in the shade Flamingo Pose. First things first, the smell. O.M.G. I love the smell of these lipsticks. They smell so good! Anyways, this color is quite a bold color. I like to think of it as the "red lipstick" for summer, since dark lips are usually for the colder months. Love this lipstick, super pigmented, smells great, and it's a great color.

Alright guys, these are my favorite lip colors for this summer. Let me know down in the comments some of your favorite lip colors for summer and spring! As always, if you have any questions or anything don't hesitate to ask! Until next time,

Makeup Brushes: Must Haves

Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share with you my must have makeup brushes. There are a lot of people who are just getting started with makeup, and don't know which brushes they will actually need. There are so many different brushes in the market, and some are quite expensive. So, here are my makeup brushes must haves!

Face Brushes:
Real Techniques Blush Brush
Real Techniques Powder Brush
Flat Top Kabuki Brush

Real Technique brushes are amazing. They are a great price, and they are pretty high quality brushes. I swear by these brushes, I honestly feel like they turn drugstore products into high end. The blush brush is perfect for blush, it goes on so smoothly and evenly, and makes the blush perfectly pigmented. The powder brush is just amazing. Its so big, so fluffy, so luxurious. Just amazing. You need it!

I'm just going to start off by saying that, if you wear foundation you need this in your life. There are tons of different brands that have flat top kabuki brushes. Sigma is a very popular brand but they're quite expensive in my opinion. I found this brush on Amazon, it came in a set with 4 or 5 different face brushes for less than $20. I loooooove this brush. It honestly puts your foundation on flawlessly, it's easy to clean it's just an amazing brush and everyone needs one!

Eye Brushes:
Blending Brush
Shany Cosmetics All Over the Lid Brush
Real Techniques Small Angled Brow Brush
Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush

I can't seem to remember what brand this brush is, but I do know it is from the drugstore, which means it's probably under $10. This blending brush is great. Everyone needs a blending brush in their life, it is essential!

This all over the lid brush is from Shany Cosmetics, I got it in a pretty large set from Amazon. These brushes are pretty cheap, in price and in quality. I wouldn't really recommend them. But just remember that this type of brush is essential.

Oh Real Techniques, you've done it again. Amazed me with the quality of your brushes. Small angled brushes are perfect for sculpting brows, making a black or dark brown shadow into a liner, top or bottom lash line. They're just great brushes to have.

This is the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush. Once again, amazing and a must have. It's the perfect size for applying shadow all over the lid, and in the crease, also for highlighting the brow bone. Just amazing.

I would recommend Real Techniques brushes to everyone, if you're just starting out or if you've been doing makeup for years. One of the things I love about Real Techniques is they have really great starter kits, for face and eyes. They each come with 4 different brushes and a carrying case. If you buy these kits you will be set.

If you have any questions about makeup brushes let me know, and I will do my best to answer! Let me know if you guys would be interested in seeing a "must have" for makeup or anything else. **Just to clarify, this post was not sponsored. I have purchased all these brushes with my own money.**
Until next time,

Delicious & Healthy Green Smoothie Recipe

Hello Everybody!! Today I wanted to share another one of my all time favorite recipes. It's really hard for some people to get all of their fruits and vegetables that they need everyday. Green smoothies are a perfect way to get both fruits and vegetables! This recipe is also great because you can pretty much whatever you want. So this is my all time fave green smoothie that I drink everyday! Let's get started!

For this smoothie you will need:

1/4 Cup Frozen Strawberries
1/4 Cup Frozen Peaches
1 Whole Fresh or Frozen Banana
1 Generous Handful of Baby Spinach
1 Bottle of Actimel (this is optional, I just like to add this because it helps with my digestion)
About 1/4 Cup Water or Juice

Once you've got all your ingredients out you can put them in your blender. Now the blender that I have also comes with single serving cups, since i'm only making a smoothie for myself that's what I used. You can layer this in pretty much any way that you want. What I typically do is cut the banana into chunks and put that in the bottom. Then I put in the strawberries and the peaches, and pour the Actimel over the fruit. Then I put in the spinach, and add your water. Then blend, blend, blend.

You will be left with something like this. Amazing green goodness. The banana makes it so creamy and delicious, and you seriously cannot taste the spinach at all! So yummy, and healthy! Doesn't get much better than that. Get yourself a straw and your good to go!

Now, if you are out of some of the ingredients or don't like some of them there are a ton of options to make this. You can use mangos, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, grapes, whatever you like! I also sometimes add kale in there, but it does make it not as creamy. You can also use any type of juice, one of my favorites is orange juice. Another good alternative to just water is also coconut water.

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Let me know down in the comments some of your favorite smoothie recipes! And if you do try out this recipe let me know if you liked it! Until next time,

XOXO

Spring Makeup Tutorial

Hello everybodyy! Today I decided to do my very first makeup tutorial! This looks will be perfect for spring and summer, and will look great with all skin tones. I used both high end and drugstore makeup. For the eyes I used my Naked 3 palette, which I love so very much. I'm going to go step by step how I achieved this look, so let's get started!
For foundation I used my Makeup Forever HD foundation in N115, mixed with my L'oreal Lumi foundation in C3. I applied this with a flat top kabuki brush. Then I used Benefits Stay Don't Stray eye primer in the shade light/medium on my eyelids, and a tiny bit under the eye for concealer. Then for blush I used a baked blush by Milani, in the shade Dolce Pink, and I applied it with a blush brush from Real Techniques.

Once that was all blended in I used my E.L.F eyebrow kit with a small angled brush to draw on my brows. I do use the powder, and the cream part of the kit. I put the powder on the part where my eyebrow hair is, then to shape them I use the cream part of the kit.

Next up is eyes! Like I said I used my Naked 3 palette by Urban Decay for this look. I started off by putting the shade Nooner all over the lid. Then taking the shade Dust and tapping it closer to the inner corner of my eye and then sweeping it out. Then I took the shade Buzz and lightly dusted it all over the lid blending the other shades nicely together. After that was all blended out I took the shade Mugshot on a fluffy brush and blended it into my crease and up a little bit on the lid, creating a subtle kind of smokey eye. Once that was all blended out I took a little bit of Darkside on a pencil brush and smudged it under my lower lash line.

For eyeliner I just used a Rimmel black liner and lined my eyes, just to give them a little more pop. I curled my lashes and used Benefit's They're Real, which really is an amazing mascara. I love it.

For lips I used a Sephora Rouge Cream lipstick in the shade Miss. Then I applied a little bit of E.L.F Natural Nymph over it to make it a little bit more subtle.

And there ya go! The finished product. I think this eye makeup is so versatile. It could be worn as a daytime look. Or you could dress it up for nighttime with some winged eyeliner if you're feeling a bit sassy.

I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial. If you have any good ideas for looks with the Naked 3 palette I would love to hear about them down in the comments. Also, if you like this tutorial and would like me to do them more often, let me know! Thanks for reading, Enjoy! Until next time,

XOXO
